Our bodies are landscapes of emotions, reactions and sensations. They are constantly absorbing energy, processing our experiences, and sending us signals.
As Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), we often feel these signals more intensely than most. Every twinge, shift in energy, or ache is like a message. It can feel overwhelming at times, but it is also profoundly wonderful: our bodies and intuition are intertwined, guiding us when we take the time to listen.
The Body as a Guide
Our bodies do so much for us. They process what we eat, how we move, the emotions we hold, and even our creative ideas. Our bodies are constantly interacting with our environments: absorbing energy, filtering information, and responding to both the tangible and quiet energies.
For HSPs and sensitive souls, this experience is heightened. We don’t just notice changes; we feel them more than others. This sensitivity is like a finely tuned compass, nudging us toward alignment with our highest selves.
I’ve noticed how my body speaks to me in ways I can’t ignore. Recently, my menstrual cycle forced me to slow down. The daily cramps and achiness made it impossible to sit at my computer with my usual work hours. It was frustrating, yet it also gave me space to reflect on where my creative energy needed to flow. My body was practically screaming at me to pause with my business tasks and evaluate everything.
That pause brought clarity. Intuition and the body work together in such intricate ways. The sensations and even the exhaustion are all messages that told me to slow down. While being in that quiet space, I could finally hear what had been calling me for some time.
Expanding My Intuition
While I absolutely love supporting creatives and healers with their work, I’ve also felt a growing pull toward intuitive work myself. Beyond business coaching, I’ve been developing my abilities in animal communication; connecting with animals both living and in spirit. Over the past few months, I’ve discovered resonance with this work. Now, I’m preparing to offer it as a service. It feels like a natural extension of what I already do, strengthening my ability to support sensitive entrepreneurs by expanding my own understanding of intuition.
This has also been a powerful practice in trusting myself—listening to my intuition and acknowledging the guidance I receive. I know that, like any skill, I will continue to grow as a messenger. I will refine my abilities with each connection. Encouraged by my mentor, I’m finally stepping forward to share this offering with others.
I recently had the opportunity to help a fearful rescue pup through an intuitive session. When I shared insights with the pup’s guardian, I felt a real sense of purpose, as if a part of my soul had clicked into place. This experience reaffirmed something I’ve always known: I am here to restore connections between humans, animals and the natural world.
If you’d like to find out how animal communication could support you and your pet, I’ve got information on my new website page.

Dealing with Uncertainty as an HSP
There have been times when I’ve felt lost, uncertain about where all my interests fit together. Being highly sensitive and multi-passionate is a gift and a challenge. Even in those moments of doubt, my body has always led me forward. Through rest and stillness, it’s that “knowing” that emerges when I give myself permission to listen.
Our intuition doesn’t always arrive as a loud, clear message. Sometimes, it’s an ache that tells us to pause. Other times it’s a rush of excitement that tells us to follow a new path. Even on the hard days, when our bodies feel heavy or our energy is low, there is wisdom within us. If we can learn to hold space for the struggles and insights, we make room for something powerful: trust in ourselves.
I want to be clear—this isn’t about bypassing real physical struggles or implying that intuition alone can solve everything. Our bodies are complex, and sometimes they need our full attention, medical support, or rest. Honoring our bodies also means tending to them in the ways they need.
At the same time, I’ve come to see that there is something profound about recognizing how our body and intuition work together. They are in a constant conversation, leading us the way logic alone cannot. They help us handle uncertainty and make mindful decisions. Both play valuable roles in guiding us toward a life and work that is aligned with who we are.
For those of us who feel deeply, our bodies are not just vessels; they are messengers. When we listen to the wisdom of our bodies and intution — we find our way, one little step at a time.

Hi, I’m Angela, an Intuitive Business Coach and Animal Communicator. I support sensitive women in building a sustainable business that honors their energy, creativity, and intuition. I believe the life we envision isn’t something we have to chase — a fulfilling life can start today. Trust yourself, you know yourself.
Such a great reminder to tune in with ourselves, especially as we pursue new endeavors. Practicing mindfulness and slowing down allows us to reconnect with our bodies and listen to the subtle shifts. Even more important in this attention grabbing world we live in 😅
Thanks for sharing your journey to this new intuitive service Angela. Sounds like you are creating a business that aligns with your heart and I hope the universe rewards you.
My relationship with my body changed forever when meditation invited me to be curious rather than controlling over physical sensations. Listening to your body and what it is telling you takes practice but yields far greater insights than trying to rule it with the thinking mind.
